On 6 September for the first time at the Teatro Antico in Taormina an operatic masterpiece of immense charm and appeal as the Singspiel entitled The Abduction from the Seraglio (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is a new version that comes from Turkey, in co-production with the National Opera in Ankara. On the podium, one of the most important conductors Turks Rengim Gokmen.
